I am interested, but I think taking the train is better. I wouldn't want to be driving around London trying to find a parking slot.

Me and Joe are going, probably get the train down there.
I dont know if we will be getting a different train to you guys, if we are on different trains we could meet up before the event.

any update on this event? who is going? I will prob want to get my train tix/hotel sorted ASAP to avoid last minute bookings.
Btw, bungo, how do I go about getting a UDE number?

I don't know if I'm going to be go.
If I go by train thats going to be around £30 which means I'm looking at £50+ for the day and I can't really justify spending that much. Does anybody know if they still do those Four-sight deals?
It is however a one day event so it is feasable to get there and back on the same day without needing to stay in a hotel.
I think there is somewhere on the UDe site where you can sign up for a number but I cann't seem to find it. I think Ty has got some forms though...

ok, thanks for the info. I'll prob still be going for the game anyway even if no one else does. i've never been to London, so I'll treat it as a weekend getaway with the wife.
