dave is right
also strange things are happening in Worldwake.
It is either a typo or a deliberate mistake to give a clue about the next set (Rise of the Eldrazi) or just a really bad design decision/mistake.
The card i'm talking about is Walking Atlas.
Walking Atlas - 2
Creature - Construct
T: You may put a land card from your hand onto the battlefield.
1/1
Fair enough, a good creature, but notice that it is a colourless non-artifact creature with a creature type that is normally artifact. Also the spoiled picture shows the card with the current artifact frame, despite it not being an artifact.
So i reckon this is a hint to RotE - the set will have colourless non-artifact creatures.
also look at:
Eye of Ugin
Legendary Land - Mythic Rare
Colorless Eldrazi spells cost 2 less to cast.
7, T: Search your library for a colorless creature card, reveal it and put it in your hand. Then shuffle your library.
Surely another hint to this?
Perhaps RotE will see the introduction of a new card frame for these new creature types? _________________

oh also another little hint/link to colourlessness being a theme of RotE is the future sight card Ghostfire (look at the flavour text)

It has been confirmed now - Walking Atlas is actually an artifact creature. however the card has been made with that missing in its type line. quite a typo, especially for magic. whoops

I dont think this mistake would have been made if RotE didnt have non artefact colourless creatures in it. _________________ "If wishes were hourses, we'd all be knee deep in Sh#t"

So what are everyone's general feelings now that we've got to grips with the set? (or is everyone waiting until after this weekend?)
I feel that WWK is very similar to ZEN. A very good flavourful fun set, with cool new mechanics, highly anticipated lands.
My only problem is that both sets seems very insular and WWK is way too similar to ZEN i feel. At the pre-release it really felt like ZEN 1.5 rather than a set with it's own theme and mechanics (although modern block design doesnt really allow that much new stuff in the small set.)
But to be fair to the block they were using a theme that most people didn't think could work and it's also the first block after WOTC's new push for flavour and mechanics to be more closely matched. _________________

WW is intended as a follow on to Zen so it is nice that they flow together. Too many of the previous sets seem to introduce a new mechanic that is never seen again.
Multikick is a nice tool to add to magic. Not sure how many of the cards will get used. The new Elf Lord is great though nothing else catches my attention. _________________

fair enough marlow - you're right when you say that a small set shouldn't bring too much new stuff to the block, but my main concern with the set is the way it feels to play. It doesn't feel worldwake-y enough.
I don't feel it has enough of it's own unique character. But this may well be the way that 2nd sets go from now on.
Don't get me wrong it's still a great set. I don't think WOTC will print a truly bad set again, or at least for a long time. Magic is in the best state it's ever been.
Also has everyone seen the crazy price for the new Jace?
Manaleak - £50
Coolstuff - $50 or $95 foil!!!
Starcitygames -$60
It's a good card but isn't that a wee bit too much? _________________

Personally I prefer the older Jace, at least he lets you draw cards while you are building up counters to deck the opponent. _________________

well Pro tour is in two weeks and that's gonna set the price for years to come. If teh winnign deck has 4x bameslayer 3x jace then its going to be crazy expensive. _________________ "If wishes were hourses, we'd all be knee deep in Sh#t"
